Kenneth B. Kirby
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kirby founded TTI in 1990 and has overseen both operations and technical
development for TTI. He is the co-inventor of the TDS® technology. In the late
1980s, he identified a novel transdermally active pharmaceutical compound,
negotiated a license for its patents, raised the seed capital and subsequent
mezzanine financing, formulated the product, designed the packaging, engaged
its manufacturing and began marketing the product in the United States. Mr. Kirby
received a B.A. in pre-medical studies from Florida State University with an
emphasis in clinical psychopharmacology. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa
and the American Chemical Society. Kirby also is a Paul Harris Fellow of the
Rotary International Foundation and serves on the Board of Advisors of the
Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at Florida State University.
Bruce M. Crawford
Chief Operations Officer
Executive Vice President
Mr. Crawford joined TTI in late 1994, bringing with him vast technology
development experience in submersible information gathering. Prior to his
current appointment at TTI, he served as President of Perry Offshore Inc., which
was successfully sold to Martin Marietta in 1994. Mr. Crawford received his B.S.
from Brown University and M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Crawford
has had a successful career as a consultant to undersea exploration companies.
Annis I. Arasim
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Annis Arasim accepted the CFO position at TTI in February of 1998. Prior to
working at TTI, she was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at
Palm Beach National of Palm Beach National Bank and Trust. Her strong record
at Palm Beach National included a successful growth of assets to more than
$90 million and 5 branches. Her career began in1986 at the Jacksonville office
of the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Mrs. Arasim holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida.
Ted Rowell
Advisor
Mr. Rowell is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive and entrepreneur, having spent the bulk of his career building a healthcare company from a a small regional company to becoming a public company traded on the NASDAQ exchange, and as an active venture investor through a family investment fund. Mr. Rowell started his career with Rowell Laboratories, Inc., a family owned business incorporated in 1935. Joining the company in 1956, Mr. Rowell led this small Midwest pharmaceutical company through years of growth and profitability. Rowell was a speciality company specializing in digestive diseases. During this time, Rowell successfully brought more than 20 new drugs to market through the FDA New Drug Application (NDA) approval process. In 1985, Rowell merged with Reid Provident Laboratories to become Reid-Rowell a NASDAQ listed pharmaceutical company. Mr. Rowell was Chairman of Reid-Rowell until its acquisition by Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 1986 when he transitioned out of day to day operations and became a member of the Board of Directors. Reid-Rowell, Inc. grew to annual sales of approximately $50 million, with 400 employees including a national sales force of 140, and today the company boasts sales in excess of $1 billion annually and more than 1,000 employees.
Mr. Rowell formed Rowell Capital Partners in 1986 to leverage his lifetime of operational and leadership expertise. By combining his expertise with direct investing in privately held companies in the medical and manufacturing fields, Mr. Rowell has continued to identify and build companies with significant growth and shareholder return. For over 20 years, Mr. Rowell has continued to be an active investor through Rowell Capital Partners as well as providing management consulting guidance to emerging growth technology and manufacturing firms. He spent 2 years with Central Florida Innovation Corp as a business development manager assisting in the creation and development of high tech companies. In 2007 as a consultant to Astrallis Group, he assisted in the formation of the TRDA business incubator in Melbourne, FL.
